Provide Financial Assistance to officers and employees in times of need
Award Continuing Education Scholarships to MIPD officers, department employees and their families
Fund Tools and Resources that help the MIPD continue to keep our community safe
Recognize and Honor the outstanding service and dedication of our Officers
Deliver Community Programs that encourage citizen participation and partnerships between the police department and the community

Some members of the City Council are considering replacing the Marco Island Police Department with the Collier County Sheriff's Office. While the Sheriff's Office is an outstanding organization, Marco Island deserves its own dedicated police force, one that knows our community, responds quickly, and is focused solely on protecting our island.
